Now that he could hide that his shirt was too big for him, the sleeves were rolled above his elbows, and it was maybe the first time that he'd been able to tuck it in. The combination of his growth and getting better at spells... Well, he begrudgingly thanked the latter, as if hesitant to admit that magic may have been useful for something.
With a short sigh, he turned to the first chapter of the book.
Wanting to go have a nice relaxing time down at the lake, Echo brought her pet mouse along with her for the adventure. It was so nice that they got free time before classes started to walk among the castle and its grounds.
Letting her feet lead the way, other than her mind. She instinctively made her way to a bunch of trees where she liked to gather some sun rays. You know a girl needs to keep up that tan. She could have always used magic but she's heard of way to many horror stories about ones that went wrong. Finally looking up she saw Dalton! she felt so bad that she hadn't gotten the chance to speak with him yet and catch up.
Jogging over to him she called his name
"Hey Dalton!" she sang, and she threw her cloak down beside his and sat down throwing her arms behind her to let her face drink up the sunlight.
"im sorry we didn't talk at the feast!!! missed you buddy! did you do anything fun over the summer break?" she rambled on as she was totally getting comfortable.
