Totally amazed at the sight of the house sprawling through branches, Davie walked up to the trunk a little open-mouthed. He almost got hit in his gaping mouth by the rope ladder descending with a soft thunk! Shaking his head, Davie quickly stowed his newfound parchment, quill, map, and notebook away in his messenger bag and then slung the whole thing around his back so he could climb.

The rope ladder wasn't too difficult, but the firstie was still a tad winded when he reached the top. All he wanted to do was dramatically collapse on the floor like he had fainted a-la Charlotte Kettleburn, and so he did just that, complete with a high-pitched sigh and widespread arms and legs and everything.

Even the FLOOR was comfy-awesome!
Ellery really liked outside. It was just so FUN to run around aimlessly and do cartwheels and sometimes flips and such. SUPER DUPER FUN. But today Ellery was more wanting to just hang out and think and maybe write a letter back home. She missed her daddies and Colin especially, and just thinking of home gave her a pang in her rib region that felt like maybe heartburn, or maybe even heartbreak. This is not to say that she hadn't had any contact with them - she sent like FIVE letters back home already, and received a few back. But it was different not being able to go across a hallways and have both her brothers in one place. Olly being in Slytherin was HARD, dude.

She climbed up about halfway, clinging to the ladder and her letters. She heard what sounded like footsteps up in the treehouse, but instead of leaving, she actually WANTED human to human interaction. So she climbed up, swung a hand onto the floor, and grunted.

"Brother, help me," she said to the unknown person. Hopefully they would say "long live the king" and quote some more Lion King with her. She wasn't in the mood to fall.
