Just when Norah was pretty sure her brains were going to come out of her hairbraids if she had to wait a second longer when Adi showed up. YAAAAAAAY! PERSON. HI PERSON. He was apparently one step ahead of her because he was already pulling her into a big hug, which she didn't resist for even a second 'cause her last hug had been all the way back on the train. Squishes were definitely overdue. She had needs, okay? Hugs were very important. "It's so so so so SO cool!" It really really was. A garden and everything. Man. "This is going to be the bestest term ever, I feel it in my BONES." She'd never really understood that expression 'cause bones didn't really have feelings, which was kind of weird to think about because she had a whole lot of bones AND a whole lot of feelings at the same exact time. Words were weird, especially when you thought about them too much. Double weird.

The fifth year was glad for the distraction of Henric and Noel showing up before she got TOO confused, and gave each of them a salute and a grin as they passed. Noel With the Pretty Face and Henric Who Wanted to Break Ice. Okay. Okay cool. This was exciting, right? RIGHT. She paused before turning to join her housemates to remind her cheeks for the bazillionth time that they weren't supposed to go red no matter how pretty people's faces were. They seemed to get worse at listening with every day that passed. What was with that, huh? She was a STUDENT LEADER now, she couldn't afford disobedient cheeks, nuh uh. No way. Definitely not allowed. Norah squished her cheeks together with the palms of her hands before taking two springy steps over to the rest of the students.

"D'ya have symphonies and stuff TOO?" Noel With the Pretty Face was ALSO Noel With the Records. Who KNEW. Classical music was the bestest thing, perfect for the bestest term. Did those even come on records? Records were practically a million years old, but her very favorite music stuff was too so maybe they did! She tried to keep from wiggling excitedly but gave in to the feeling after about two seconds. She deserved it, okay? It was a good reward for her cheeks only going a little pinker than they normally do. Even cheeks listened to real live Prefect Authority.

AND MOXLEY WAS HERE TOO. AAAAYYYY! Norah left her cauldron cake on the table and threw her hands in the air. "PROFESSOR!" Whoops. "I mean, um, hi!! I'm so so so excited this is awesome you're awesome everything is awesome you're going to be such an awesome head of house and everything looks AWESOME." SO awesome she couldn't even handle it. Could she tell?
