FINALLY!

Candice quickly followed her housemate entered the common room. It still looked the same except maybe that stuffed beach ball and that goal hops over there. The stuffed beach ball looked cute tho. She wondered if she's allowed to keep one? Maybe she should asked her Head of House later. Speaking of her Head of House, what in the world was that man wearing? "Hello, Professor. Umm..Nice suit?" Didn't he ever heard a phrase that said Less is more? But on the bright side they didn't need a Disco Ball if they need one for this House Party, Flamsteed's suit would be a perfect Disco Ball.

Marshmallows? Nope. She's not interested in marshmallows or anything sugary. But she's very more interested with that large box over there.

Shoving a white marshmallow into his mouth, Zeke couldn't help but smirk around it as Candice too 'complimented' Prof. Airey's suit. Granted, her's sounded more questioning than anything else, but it really was something. Glitter was more Avery's thing, but the RED he could appreciate. House spirit, RAWR.

SPOILER!!: Blaise

It was only a short glance at his floating notepad that confirmed he would never be learning the school song this way. Maybe...he'd ask the Prefect...and use a regular quill to take it down next time.

FOR NOW THOUGH they got to crawl through the portrait hole and the next thing he knew, he was in Heaven. It was almost too much for the little boy to take in which had him standing at the entracnce for an unusually long time while others walked further into the room. Didn't surprise him he'd lost his cousin AGAIN but they had a habit of running into each other so for now Blaise was gonna mingle...right next to that girl who'd sat near him at the table; Noelle 'cause that's what she said her name was. "How d'you reckon we're meant to use that thing?" He asked, pointing to what looked like a Mini Quidditch sort of deal. Probably wasn't a good idea on a full stomach but when had THAT ever stopped him?

At the mention of the....dazzling(?) suite the Professor had appeared in, Blaise turned to the older boy who'd given the compliment (Zeke). "Does he always dress like that?" And yes, the quill WAS poised and ready to incorrectly quote him. Go ahead.

Oh! That reminded him! "Psssst! Heeeeey! YoOOuUu!" Blaise waved his hands around, trying to grab the attention of the Head Boy. "How long do we have to learn the song?" You know, before they threw them in detention. Only reason to have a song is to force children to learn it, right?

And look! There was Ava! Blaise waved her over to where he was standing, getting all excited again. "Lookit what they got over there! My Grand Aunt said they banned that sport here. D'you think the Professor's into shady stuff?" The quill would be taking her quote as well. Effective little thing it was.

In the middle of all his questions, there was one very important one he wouldn't neglect to ask. "You got a baby dragon in that box, Professor?" It was red, and muggle cartoons made dragons red, ergo, it made perfect sense.

And as quickly as he had swallowed his 'mallow, a voice was interrogating him... or something. Zeke turned his head slightly to see a younger boy. He'd SEEN him during the ceremony, sure, but hadn't been paying enough attention for details such as names. Awkward?

The question though, good one. - and one apparently worthy of note taking?

"Not usually... well, suits yes, the glam... not so much." Girly glam that is. But the red was fetching, and not uncommon.

SPOILER!!: Cinna and Airey!

She was really starting to wonder if coming back was worth it. So far she'd have to say no. All of the cowebs were gone now, that was a plus. Maybe she should just go up to her dorm and go to bed. That sounded like a perfect way to end this night. Especially after the fat lady having to sing. At least she wasn't trying to hit any high notes this evening.

"Or not." She said out loud as she stepped into the common room. She seen the normal table set up with snacks and drinks. It was almost like a campfire going on. To go with the theme of camp this term? Maybe she did overact to the camp thing a little.

What was that over there in the corner? Hello mini quidditch pitch. How cute? She'd have to go check that out later. Grabbing a cup of hot tea she spotted Kaycee and headed over to her. "Hey, girlll! How are you?" flopping down on the couch beside of her Kaycee!sis. Hehe she just adored her. Speaking of adorable Cinna thought that this terms little lions were the cutest.

She heard one of the firsties Noelle introduce herself. "Hey Noelle, I'm Cinnamon. I hope you enjoy Gryffindor." She gave her small smile then there was two more new lions Ava, Blaise and Marietta, "Hello welcome to Gryffindor. I'm Cinnamon. And yes you get to live her now." She laughed a bit at the girls question. This tea sure was making her peppy and social. It was a big mood change from the feast. And the younger kids seem to put her in a better mood too. It also made her miss her little brother and sister.

There were some of the older kids around to, Zander and Benny they both got a smile and a wave. It was hard to believe that they were now seventh years. It was both exciting and sad at the same time. And there was Zeke too. Looking all grown up. Yo dude stop that this seventh year was feeling really old now. "Zeke! How's it going?" She almost added little guy. She was sure he didn't want to be called that.

"Hey, Flamsteed toss me a marshmallow. I like mine burnt." It was time to toast some marshmellows and make some s'mores.

Not everyone was a fan of them. Which was something he was unable to understand WHY. They were delicious. Delicious little clouds. But it seemed as though Mr. Atreyu was going to take him up on the offer. "The vanilla bean ones make especially good smores," he suggested. "Raspberry is quite delectable as well."

Glancing over his shoulder as he stabbed a vanilla marshmallow, the astronomer saluted the first year. "Welcome to Gryffindor, Miss Burton." It didn't take long for the next first year to appear and make the man chuckle. "It is our sincere hope that it feels like home, yes," he grinned at her. "Welcome, Miss Lee."

Sticking his marshmallow straight into the fire now, he offered the fourth year a quick salute. "Good to see you back, Mr. Zeke," he nodded. If the former department head for Law Enforcement found Hogwarts it enough for her son, then that gave the Head of House some peace of mind. The suit. Right.

Ugh.

Grumbling some form of thanks in the young man's general direction, he had to physically bite his tongue when Miss Messer joined in on the complimenting.

"Not new. Defiled with Dark magic is more like it," he retorted. At least he hadn't shouted at these two like he had Meri berry?

Now, wasn't this an amusing bout of deja vu? All the inquiry over a box. He supposed, so as not to repeat the disappointment that had been the looks on everyone's faces during his final lesson of the term last year - although HE thought it was all rather uplifting! - he shook his head in reply to the first year's question. "No, no dragon, Mr. Bellaire," he chuckled. "Or rather, not yet."

One could never tell what the future would bring.

Meanwhile, in the fireplace, his marshmallow was ABLAZE and threatening to fall off his roasting stick. Things like this did tend to happen to those who were easily distracted.

It was good to be back, and really, he couldn't imagine being anywhere else. "Good to see YOU back, professor," he returned. Because seriously, why did so many have to leave? Now he'd have to get used to new teachers, which was always a pain.

But then all understanding and coherency was lost. Defiled? Dark magic? Uh huh. Sure it was. Should he even ask?

The kid's (Blaise) question regarding the box thing caught his attention though, or more to the point, Professor Airey's answer caught his attention. A dragon? Not yet? So what?..... "A dragon egg?" he asked, like, what even? Those were illegal right? Like, they needed proper permits and things, right? People couldn't just HAVE dragon eggs.

He was quite at his leisure at this point, and was only too happy to share the comfy couch with whomever wanted to claim with him. China's arrival didn't go unnoticed, and it seemed odd that he hadn't noticed her at the feast... though, granted, he did have other things on his mind.

"Cinna!" he greeted, grinning, "good, great... yourself?" he asked, polishing off his other marshmallow as she asked Airey to hand her one. "I'll have another too, please," he added to the request. Or y'know, just give him his own bowl.
