Zeke was sure he was staring at a constellation he had studied once before, but the name of it didn't come to him, and it didn't keep his attention for too long either. He had heard her footsteps coming, as light as they were, and had turned in time to see her enter. Physically he responded almost instantly, a casual smirk lifting the corners of his lips. Words however, took longer to form. Did he LOOK casual? Because that's what he was aiming for, not that he made much work of it.
Pushing away from the wall, hands in pockets, he took a couple of measured steps toward her in an effort to close the gap but still maintained some distance. Meeting halfway seemed a good way to start.
"So you are," he managed to reply, pausing where he was. His hazel eyes locked on hers briefly before trailing to her lips and back up again. Sooooooo.... what did she want to show him? He was keen to find out. Removing a hand from his pocket he held it out to her, expecting her to take it so that he might pull her closer. He could deal with not knowing her plans for a little longer, so long as he could be distracted in the meantime. She wouldn't leave him hanging... right?
