Following Zander, Puck and the other students, Ava finally arrived at the Gryffindor common room. This place would be her second home for the next seven years and those people here would be like her family. She was quite nervous, though so far she enjoyed the feast and people in Gryffindor seemed nice. But still... this was her first time ever being separated with Teddy. Hopefully her twin brother would enjoy being a Ravenclaw, like what she did feel being a Gryffindor.
After pronouncing the password and entered the common room through the Fat Lady's portrait (and she had to listen to her singing something), the first-year stepped in and..... WOW! "This is cool!" She said excitedly. And look! They had snacks here! She grabbed a mug of hot cocoa and put some marshmallows on it. "Hey, everybody! Ava Burton is here and I am soooooooooooooo glad to be a Gryffindor!" She said while she raised her hot cocoa mug. Her brown eyes spotted the crimson box at the table curiously. What was that? Another surprise?
