Norah noticed him, brandishing him a smile as she sat. He managed a small one of his own before noticing the badge now pinned to her robes. It seemed she was Adi's new prefect partner in crime. "Congrats," he couldn't help saying to the younger Hufflepuff. She certainly seemed enthusiastic about her new role in the school, greeting the new and returning students with gusto.
Henric didn't seem bothered by his hesitance for which Benny was thankful. Don't mind the Lion being out of sorts at your table Puffers. He didn't have a thorn in his paw so he wasn't prone to roar and bite anyone so it was all good. The mention of the dragon reserve got a better smile onto his face, a return to the happy summer he had had. "It was great," he assured the boy before nodding at the mention of stories.
His joke about mascot duty got laughter from Adi, however it was followed by intense attention onto him because of his confession. Benny had to take a deep breath to deal with the ackward feeling, nodding as his bestie asked for confirmation on what he had heard. He couldn't deny needing the friendly touch of support from the other boy. "Ooooo lucky me," he teased with soft chuckle as he accepted the sours. Cheering up fuel. "Thanks," the Gryffindor eating a few to get a minor boost.
