To be perfectly fair, worse things had happened had Hogwarts than the spiders. Just the stories his mother told him.. Basically, if the spiders were the last straw for some kids then perhaps they weren't cut out to be at Hogwarts in the first place. Just sayin'. "Yeah, I've got NEWTs this year, they're gonna suck," actually though. He was already dreading them and term hadn't even started.
