Baby Badgers, Baby Badgers, where you guys at?
Adi had been paying attention to the Sorting Hat, waiting for it all to get started. He recognised Henry among the newbies and crossed his fingers, hoping the boy would join Hufflepuff House. Just then, someone arrived... in the form of
Benny. Well, he was clearly no baby Badger. Hehe.
"Benny! The Lion table is that way!'' Cue the pointing! It wasn't like Benny to be making a trip to another House table on the very first day of the term. That was Adi's thing. He took a closer look at his friend.
"Is something wrong?" He was lost, not really having the chance to hang out with Benny on the Train and the carriages, so he was clueless about what had taken place.
Feeling the tap on his shoulder, Adi turned fully around, ready to greet whoever it was. There was a huge smile instantly on his face.
"Marsha! Hello!'' Before he knew what was happening, he was being hugged and clung to around the neck area. Not that he minded one bit. The seventh year hugged the second year back tightly.
"Of course I did! I missed your energy, you know. Those giggles too.'' Her chin on his shoulder, Adi gently bumped his cheek repeatedly against Marsha's head.
"Summer was super fun! But it's great to be back, wouldn't you say so?'' Also, he had been thinking of something but he would her about it later.
"How about you? Did you make more creature friends?'' He knew all about her love for them. Yep, he did.
The prefect had been focusing on
Henry when it was his time to put on the Sorting Hat. HUFFLEPUFF, he heard the Hat say.
Henry was a Puffer! This was AWESOMEEE! And what was just as awesome? Henry remembered him.
"Heya, Henry!'' Big, warm grins for you, little fella!
"Welcome to Hogwarts and Hufflepuff! You needed those yellow and black ties, after all.'' Hehe. Oh yesh. Adi had a welcome present for him.
"Here's a Chocolate Frog for you. It should keep you going until the Feast starts.''
Adi laughed and shook his head at
Henric, pleased to see his friend seemed to have regained his usual attitude after the revelations on the carriage.
"Seriously, Henny. You would think that we haven't seen each other in a long time,'' he joked, returning the fist bump with enthusiasm.
"Did you gobble up all that stuff I got you already?'' He couldn't blame his friend. Food was sooooooo one of the best things in the world!
Ohh, looky! They had another firstie! And he was all beamy!
"HI, big guy!'' Enthusiastic greeting for the dude.
"Welcome to Hogwarts and Hufflepuff! I'm Adi, one of your House prefects.'' And no. Adi was NOT the scary type of prefect. Hehe. Also, did the kid mind he was being referred to as 'big guy'?
