"You," she said and pointed at the boy, but then found that she was composed once again and she didn't need to go on a rant about scaring people. Because that was obviously exactly what he'd been trying to do. But Riley Archer was not so easily scared.

"SORRY 'BOUT CHIP," she said, speaking over the beating sound of her heart in her ears before realising that he couldn't hear her heart -- probably -- and lowering her voice a tad. "Um, yeah, sorry 'bout Chip, he gets excited." Definitely not sick of her singing. "I'm Riley," she introduced herself with a toothy grin, before reaching over to grab Chip off his lap. She sat down opposite the boy and swung her legs. "Y'don't mind if I sit here, do ya?"
