Before Lucas could size the guy up anymore and get into his head, a girl came and asked if she could join them. He silently sighed and thought about how this compartment seemed to be getting more crowded... his older sister would have loved this but him... he wasn't too sure about it yet but trying to be polite, he smiled and nodded. "Sure... why not... come join us." He gestured to one of the empty spots in this compartment. "I am Lucas... Lucas McIntyre." He extended his hand over in her direction and gave a slight smile. She seemed to be closer to the boy's age than his. Is there anyone my age at this school??? Lucas grimaced at that thought then turned his attention back to the boy.

He smiled, "Nice name." Lucas debated for a little bit but then decided that Colt would probably make a good friend... hey... a guy needs an older friend to look up to, no? I wonder if he pulls pranks... that would be fun if he did... He couldn't help a smirk as he thought about how much mischief and trouble Colt and him could get into if Colt did indeed like to pull pranks. He nodded rapidly, "That does sound like a good school! My older sister and aunt were in Ravenclaw and my mother was in Hufflepuff." He made a disgusted face. "I'm hoping to be in Gryffindor like my uncle or Slytherin like my grandparents." He nodded a lot again. Lucas was bouncing a little bit now with the excitement of being sorted soon. His grin was from ear to ear.
