Appearance:

Nessie has long, wavy otherwise straightened and sometimes frizzy Ginger hair. Her eyes are blue with and at times have a hint of hazel. Her skin is fair and she is quite skinny. She’s a little tall for her age, but otherwise she looks pretty fragile, which she is not.

Background:

The name
When the new addition to the Dixon family arrived, there was plenty of excitement going on. She was a beautiful baby girl and they wanted to give her a beautiful name too. Ariella had wanted to name her Talya at first, but as Nathan's mother, Renee past away a year before he wanted to pass on the name. Together they came up with the name, Renesmee which they both agreed on, making Talya her second name instead of her first. Renesmee means Reborn And Loved. As for her second name it is a hebrew name meaning heavens dew.

Even though both her names have quite special meaning, the young Dixon wasn't too fond on neither of them. It is for this reason that she likes most people to call her by her nicknames Ness or Nessie. Some people have their own nicknames for her such as such as Lochnessie, Rennie, Nestle, Nessiebear, Nessiepoo, Squirt, Squidward, Squidy and Peach.

Early Life
In Paris, on a cold winters night, the Dixons welcomed a new daughter into their lives. Although Nessie was born in Paris, France her family only stayed there for another year. Soon after her little sister, Juliet was born, they all immigrated to South Africa, which was where Nessie grew up and felt most at home.

South Africa was a whole experience on it’s own. It was very different to France, yet it was just as beautiful. The Dixon’s lived in a wealthy suburb in the city of Johannesburg. It was just like any normal city, with buildings and houses, yet to them it felt like paradise. They stayed in the city most of the time, yet on the odd occasion they would venture out into the less developed side of South Africa, where they stayed at safari’s for pleasant and relaxing vacations.

Of course Renesmee had always been accustomed to this rich sort of lifestyle and she liked most of the perks, but sometimes she wished she could be a little more normal. Most of the people her parents convoyed with were rather snobbish and very judgmental. It was for this reason, that Nessie always felt she was pressurized to act and do things that meant not being totally herself. She didn’t like this fakeness, but she couldn’t help it. All she had ever wanted was to fit in, and seeing as she was different from these rich people she struggled. Especially at school.

Both her parents had forced her to attend a private muggle school, which she had ended up despising. The children there were just as snobby and judgmental as their parents and it was hard for the future Hufflepuff to get along with them. Luckily for Nessie she wasn’t the only outcast and already on her first day she had met her soon to be best friend, Galia.

Galia and Renesmee were almost inseparable. They came from similar backgrounds and they could easily understand each others feelings and problems. There relationship was more than just a friendship it was more like a very strong sisterhood that could never be broken. They stuck together happily and were always there for each other in times of good and bad. This friendship meant the world to Ness and it was one of the only things that kept her happy. Galia too was magical, except she was born a muggle and lived as a muggle she discovered her magic ability.

Sadly a few weeks before the two were off to Hogwarts, Galia passed away in a car crash. This incident left Rensesmee distraught and it was very hard for to get through her first year at Hogwarts.

Personality

As an ickle Renesmee used to be as shy as anything, but growing up changed her and now she's much louder than she used to be. She feels more at home with herself and is able to open up more easily to others than she used to, yet still there are few people she trusts with her full heart. Some people may find her a little weird, in a good way most of the time, that is, but she believes she is just different in some ways, in ways she refuses to change. This is because she believes that being yourself is always more important than fitting in, even if she herself deems fitting in as important.

There are many sayings she likes to live by and believes that life is like a book, whilst you are there to ink up it's pages with the best story you can be, a story that will involve your good times and your bad both equally valuable to your life's tale. Throughout times of happiness it's likely you will find this red head talking to people whilst smiling about and giggling and unless she is thinking of course. When she thinks she pouts, it doesn't necessarily mean something is up, it just means she is in thought or concentration. During difficult times there are several ways Nessie reacts, it depends on the case. She doesn't break too easily, but certain things will trigger her to burst and when that happens it's likely you'll either hear tons of screeching or she'd recede into a place where she can be alone, or with someone she highly trusts and let out her emotions till she has calmed down.

Working hard, is something this Hufflepuff surely does. If she is passionate about something, such as dancing she will work with no limits just to achieve what she wants. She is a true dreamer although she won't go into anything life wise-important without over-thinking about it first. Sometimes she doubts herself as well as her talents which has a lot to do with the way she had been brought up. This is changing more and more though as she is starting to realize what potential she actually has and that you should succeed for yourself and not only others.

Maybe brave wouldn't be a good way to describe it, but Nessie is very instinctual and at times due to that, will do certain things and possibly later regret them. This also goes with her words, she can be tactless and at times says things that are slightly inappropriate. Mumbling is another thing she tends to do whilst talking about certain topics that usually make her feel uneasy.

If there is one thing that is really important to this Dixon it is her friends, especially her kiddos. They mean the world to her, probably even more than most of her family does. She loves them and is forever worrying whether they're alright or not.

All in all, Renesmee knows herself more well so as she grows and even with her struggles, she tries to stay tough and always remain true to herself and who she is.
