Background:
Half and Half (Half-blood): His mother is a witch and his father is a muggle.
Birthplace: Honjo, Japan
Mother: Amaya Sato (Japanese, Witch) Amaya: Japanese name meaning "night rain."
Mother’s family lives in Japan in a wizarding village near Takinoue Town in Hokkaido.
Mother was living in Honjo (NW of Toyko) running a small clothing store, this store carried a variety of clothing and was willing to order items if a customer wanted them. The store also helped witches and wizards dress in proper muggle clothing.
It was when Cass’s father arrived one day while just touring the area; they met and stayed in contact, finally getting married 2 years later. A year later Cass was born in early October.

Father’s family lives in Peterborough, England.
Works as an electronics designer and fabricator for an international company. He designs, implements, and test new designs for various products ranging from Plasma TVs to simple music players. He was transferred to Japan for several years where he met and married his wife Amaya and started his family with Cass. Of course he found out that witches and wizards really existed after marrying Amaya, and has sense accepted the wizarding world as part of his own, he is even working on finding a way to allow most electronics to still function when in a high magic location.

Major events:
Living in Japan for the first 7 years of his life Cass learned Japanese and even attended Japanese primary school for a couple years. Then his father was transferred back to the main company office in Walford, England, thus the family moved to England using a mixture of muggle airlines and magical transport for items that would most likely cause a problem with customs. Cass then spent the next 4 years learning in English schools and trying to learn what he could of magic from his mother.
The first time Cass displayed any magical ability was in Japan while he was flying a kite and it got stuck in the lower branches of a tree, a good 15 feet off the ground, he just ‘jumped’ into the tree and got his kite back… luckily there was no one around but his parents. He has sense had several ‘accidents’ with magic both in Japan and in England.
The latest major event was the arrival of both the letter for Hogwarts and the school his mother attended in Japan, but it was decided to send him to the closer of the two so he can easily come home on the holidays, if he wants. A few days later his mother took him to Diagon Alley to open his own vault and let him get his school supplies alone. Unfortunately his father had to work and could not come like he wanted (he really enjoys Diagon Alley and all the ‘odd’ things that happen there) and his mother only had enough time to help him set up his vault before she had to return home to talk to Ministry Officials about the opening a new clothing store here like the one she had in Japan (that one is still open just run by her younger sister now, it is a family store).
