She's also fairly short for her age (5'2" just like her mother) and has always had a small build (105 lbs.).

Background - Anna is the pureblood daughter of Alexander Salazar Greingoth, a former Slytherin, and Bella Montez Greingoth, a former Gryffindor who owns and operates Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor. Her father is a native of London, England, and her mother is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Both Anna's paternal and maternal grandparents are living. Her paternal grandparents, Alexander Sr. and Vanessa Greingoth, live in London not too far from Anna's house. Her maternal grandparents, Alejandro and Isabella Montez, live in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Anna is an only child, but she hopes one day to have a younger brother or a younger sister.

Extra In-Depth Analysis - During Anna's first and second years at Hogwarts (and part of her third year), being a bookworm made up her entire personality. By the end of her third year, though, she started to notice boys as people who could be more than "just friends," and she shed her bookworm image. She still makes superb grades and cares about her schoolwork, but her life is no longer focused around it. In her first five years at Hogwarts, Anna never lost a single house point; therefore, it was of no surprise to her when she discovered one day during Charms class that her boggart was any professor docking a single house point from Gryffindor on Anna's behalf. One the first day of school during Anna's sixth year, she managed to lose five house points for "using the staff table for social reasons."

All her life, Anna has been a bossy, know-it-all little girl; and although she loves her family and friends with all her heart, she loves to be able to tell them exactly what to do. Nevertheless, she can always be found surrounded by her closest friends or her boyfriend. She began dating her co-prefect, Cale Newell, during her fourth year, and the two have been together ever since. Anna figures she'll end up being Mrs. Newell one of these days.

Her current favorite classes are Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, History of Magic, Muggle Studies, and Transfiguration. Anna struggles the most in Ancient Runes and Divination, so those two have always been her least favorite classes. She's the current female Gryffindor house prefect and the Quidditch team's keeper. She has two pets, a snowy owl named Charlotte (which she's had since her first year at Hogwarts) and a baby crup named Piccadilly (which Cale bought for her in Diagon Alley right before her sixth year).
