It was the most ex-cit-ing tiiiiiime of the yeaaaaaar. Davie was humming, very, very quietly to himself as he pushed open the door to Ollivander's. He was alone, having insisted that he was old enough to go into Diagon Alley stores all by himself now, and he was dressed smartly from head to toe. Even his hair was behaving today. He did agree to meet his mum at Madame Malkin's later, for his new robes, but first, FIRST he had to get his wand.

Bright eyed Davie looked around and cleared his throat, ready to be measured and fitted for his FIRST-EVER WAND. He tried not to bounce too much as he waited to be helped on this exciting morning.
