Didn't he thrive on the thrill of adventurous things like a massive waterslide on the Hogwarts grounds? She had assumed so, which was one of the reasons she made SURE that was where she got stationed for the afternoon. She thought he'd want to do it loads of times, so Tobes could come see her and ride the slide as many times as he wanted. It was perfect, really.
Squeezing his hand after he'd laced their fingers together, Sophie smiled and giggled brightly as he swung them while they walked. "You'll burn off a lotta energy that way." If he had loads of energy to expend, but today... well, she wasn't sure that he HAD loads of energy to burn off. Was the end of term finally getting to him? Was he sad, even in the face of a waterpark beckoning him to enjoy all it had to offer?
"He'd love the attention, though," the Ravenclaw joked about Zander, the smile going all the way up to her eyes, "but I suppose you're just too nice. Can we go see him before we go up to the top? Or we can hurry up to the top and I'll go down WITH you and we'll BOTH go grace him with our presence after we have our own fun." She just wanted to see what he'd chosen to wear, if he'd remembered to put sunscreen on, if he was shirtless... and she wanted to splash them both with as much water as possible. Having them both in the same place was her favorite thing in the whole world.
"Not for the whole day. Just a good part of it. At least I'm supposed to.... but whether that'll happen is up for debate. When have I ever been one to do exactly as I was told?" Hehehe. "Plus, I wanna go get some of those fake tattoos and I'm gonna be hungry, like, twenty minutes from now, probably. So you'll probably see me wandering 'round. Not sure I can stay in the same spot for too long." So, oops. How was SHE supposed to resist the urge to jump down the waterslide the whole afternoon? No, she was definitely going to be going down it like... every half hour, at the least. THEY COULDN'T KEEP HER FROM ENJOYING THE DAY.
"I'll give him a good splash on the way down," Tobias replied, by way of a compromise. Sounded good to him. After all, splashing was fine. They'd done splashing at his pool back home, so it was hardly uncharted territory. Zander would love it. And if not, well... Toby could point accusingly at Soph and just run away. He was a fast runner, though... maybe not in these flip flops.
"We can meet him, sure." He smoothed his school tie (necessary item of clothing... like, symbolic or something) against his chest, and looked off towards the giant water slide.
The closer they got to the Hogwarts Plunge, the easier it became to see just who was already there, but Toby still had to sort of squint to make people out. Merlin. Eyes, pls. Meanwhile, he nodded along with what Soph was saying, eyeing up the slide as they approached at the same time. Of course, it was talk of food that grabbed his attention.
"Is there still gonna be a FEAST here?" he asked, because obviously Soph would know.
"It'd feel mega weird to not have a feast... this year of all-... is that Javy? And Culloden?"
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. It totes was. Toby looked to Soph and wiggled his eyes at her, then suddenly ran towards the slide still hand in hand with Soph, a big difference to their leisurely pace from before. Because PEOPLE. Soph could match his pace, Toby knew that.
Okay, yeah. Running in flip flops. This took getting used to. FLIPFLOP!NYOOOOM.
FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP.
