It didn’t help too when other people his age put the topic on the table, and not realize how uncomfortable it was for him. How about his wife though? She never brought it up, because she knows him too well. Of course, Mordred wanted to change that. He’d want Sophie to discuss it with him openly, and not be squirmy about it.
Sooner or later though, Sophie will come up to him and say she’s pregnant. And no sir, he’s got no intention whatsoever to faint from the news should it happen. Obviously, he needs to prepare himself NOW.
Thankfully, he didn’t need to go far for help, nor ask some of his friends for advice. The daycare was just a few floors below their office, and he could go visit the person in charge of the children during his lunch break.
The dragonologist showed himself inside, and did a quick scan of the room. The place was rather quiet, wasn’t it? Well, silence meant mischief, if the description was associated with children. He did appreciate the stillness though. At least he’d get to have a real conversation with the personnel who worked there without shouting over the kids' noise.
So yes...anybody home? Athena had just dropped by the office to take care of a few things since she had been gone for a few weeks, plus she had to shpw little Charlotte off who she was wearing in a baby sling on the front of her body. All was quiet in the daycare as kids had already been picked up for the dar so she was a vit surprised when she heard the dig charm of the front door. She shouted a Hello from the back room before she made her way up to the front and litle Charlotte whined due to her loud voice. "Sorry, sweetheart." oops. She almost forgot the newborn still slept 20 hours a day "Good evening." she walked back out into the lobby center where she saw a younger guy. "How can i help you?" she rocked the little one by bouncing slightly as she looked at the guy. Well, what is it? She wanted to go. |
