She looked at the other students that had been brought back safely to. "Is everyone alright? " Did the hostages need Cece?

Oh goodness she turned back to the ones that had been so brave and stated snapping. It was now time to snap. They all did so brilliantly she was just so proud and full of so many emotions. "The charm, the snakeskin it all worked? Bravo" She was snapping again to anyone who would listen.
Was she alright? "Do I LOOK alright?" the Headmistress leaned toward Cassie with a half-crazy glare, half-exhausted stare. She didn't mean to snap at the... well, snapping professor, she was just really, really tired. "I think we need some food for the search party and the rescued, do you think you can make that happen?"

Also unfortunately, this particular Gryffindor had had it up to here with Hogwarts at this point herself. So, she'd have to be excused for what came out of her mouth next. "GET HIM YOURSELF, TRUEBRIDGE!!!"

Oops?

Besides, she hadn’t seen said professor in awhile, so yeah. All she knew was that he was here. Or she thought he still was, anyway.

"By the way, you have web in your hair."

She didn't normally do so, but Heather joined in with Professor Cassie's snapping now. You know, since their own Headmistress wasn't sending them kudos. Really, everyone involved deserved it, risking their lives like that. Actually, what everyone deserved was a nice, large piece of chocolate cake. Or cheesecake. No, definitely chocolate.

"How DARE YOU----"

Perhaps in a few days, it would sink into some sort of understandable memory. Something he could sort through and label. For now, he was interested in herding the remainder of the rescues and rescuers into the Great Hall, right behind the Headmistress and Cassie. The charm casters got an appreciative smile from him.

While the Headmistress got a long look from him as she plopped down, a smile playing on the corner of his lips. She looked in a right mood to hex someone, and yet he couldn't quite help it. "Didn't know you could be tied up, Truebridge."

As in, 'welcome back, glad you are safe'. Totally and completely what he meant.

The half smile showed it as he moved up beside Carrington, his attention diverting to the young woman. Laying a hand on her and Adi's shoulders, he couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards her state. Being back in the castle brought the fatigue full frontal, but there was still the residue of adrenaline that kept him at least outwardly composed.

"Best you get to seeing the Healer, Ms Carrington." He didn't need to ask Rehman to stay by the girl's side. It was a no-brainer. He understood it all too well.

Turning to the others joining them, he glanced over them all. "Good work you lot." His attention snagged on Cassie, and he gave her a nod of acknowledgement and if a nod could do such a thing, of thanks.

As for the Deupty Headmaster? Sabel glanced around. He had seen the chap in the Great Hall before they left. He was scanning the faces when his ears decided to yank his head in another direction.

"Xanthopoulos!" Sabel's tone came out as a snap. "I believe your hearing may have been damaged during the battle. Your words are coming out a bit....loud. Best if you get it check with the Healer as soon as possible." If the girl thought acromantula's were bad, she was about to be very mistaken by whatever response came from the Headmistress at such an address.
"---" WELL. Thank GOODNESS for Dakest.

And did she really have web in her hair? Annie nervously patted the back of her head, her hand just narrowly missing the remaining web as she side-eyed Sabel.

"I wasn't caught," the Headmistress sniffed imperiously. "I was just detained was all." And, by the by, "thank you," she added in a smaller voice. "Thank you all for not forgetting about us."

He heard the headmistress shouting before he walked in but he couldn't make up what she said, so he didn't pay attention. He kept moving between tables and students, up until a girl shouted at her own headmistress...????

Botros was angry, he marched up to the dais intending to take a bunch of nice points from her for her pure rudeness, but saw that professor Dakest was talking to her so he let it go.

"Annie, dear, you look," he reached up and tried to brush off the cobweb on her hair. Unsuccessfully. "Thrilled," maybe? Botros smiled at professor Cassie nearby, too.
Speaking of forgetting, and being forgetful.... where had Abraham been? "Professor," she sighed as he reached out for her, mistaking his hand for something like a hug. She pat-patted his arm and tugged him over to sit. "I..." suddenly the words weren't coming. "I have to talk to you." NOW. Now, before she lost the courage!

Also, "Cassie," Annie leaned around Botros to look at her, "is the food coming?"
