Since we did not finish the second lesson....  here is the OFFICIAL way to harvest a mandrake.
HOW TO HARVEST AN ADULT MANDRAKE:- Put on your earmuffs.
- Pull mandrake from the pot and stun the mandrake as soon as it emerges (or you can stun first and pull second).
- Check the mandrake for signs of aging/verify that it is an adult.
- Using diffindo, separate the top of the mandrake (leafy part) from the root.
- Scrub the mandrake root clean, so no dirt remains on it.
- Dry the mandrake (preferably using magic).
- Use a potions knife or wand to cut the mandrake root at an angle in small, even slices.
- Place the sliced mandrake a jar and label it appropriately. You're finished!
