"Thanks. " He smiled at her because at the exact moment she had said yes he was seated, well and truly looking forward to his lunch. Force of habit, and without thinking about it, Rusty used his wand to cut the crusts off, then he banished them to the tub back home that was kept specifically for bread scraps.

"Huh. " he said sheepishly, realising what he'd just done. "Suppose there's not much point keeping bread scraps to feed the ducks with Lola away at school. "
