Jory half expected Gwen to walk away from him but his words seemed to have a positive effect on her. Quite honestly, if she did leave him again he would be miserable again for the rest of his life until she came back. If she ever came back. Jory didn’t waste any time in hugging Gwen back tightly before kissing her again. He was very reassured that she wouldn’t be leaving him now though.
“I’ll just have to tell Ronnie. I’ll do it today.’’ It was something he had to do otherwise he wouldn’t be at ease. Neither would Gwen. Jory could just feel her internal struggles with these latest developments. “Don’t think too much on it, okay, Gwen?’’ He couldn’t stand her being upset over anything but he was worried about how Ronnie would take the news. Even she loved him. Since when did life get so complicated? |
