After his little accidental search and rescue earlier, Maddox had taken to making his own checks around the castle. It was easier going alone, going as a cat that slipped in and out of places while being less likely to be noticed.
From what he could see, it was an all out takeover. Of course something of the sort was suspected but not at this magnitude. It looked like they would actually be in need of the emergency plan he'd been forced to sit through developing with Bellaire.

While the Heads of Houses did their necessary checks the Charms Professor made his way to the staff dais. He trusted the woman would see the look and take it as her invitation to join him.
