Nessa beamed brightly as first Cassie began to sing and the two girls started to join in. She listened with a big smile as they sang the birthday song to her and she clapped with delight once they finished. "Oh how very lovely for you all to come and help celebrate my birthday!" She knew her BFF always had something planned which was always so very sweet, but having two students join her in the celebration was touching as well.
Her brown eyes fell on the birthday cake as Cassie mentioned it and she gave another bright smile. "How wonderful! Thank you all so much for remembering my birthday today. Would you all like to come in and have a piece of cake?" She opened her door a little wider. She could certainly use a piece of cake herself right now and she didn't mind sharing at all.
