Sigh. Dot moved her clinging to Eden, since the older girl was right there and she needed comforting.
"I feel useless and scared and really mad, and I'm not cut out for all those feelings at the same time." She was good at one feeling at a time, and this was like... ALL THE FEELINGS. All of them. She squeezed even harder. "Can you breathe?"
