Janelle smiled at the professor. She was happy to be in class, even though it was early. She couldn't help it if she was excited to add new charms to her repetiore. And then..........apparently everyone did not feel the same way. Janelle groaned as the class was given another wake up task to do. Fortunately, they did not have to climb the desks today. Running a lap. Janelle could live with that and she began to make a serpentine pattern between the desks.

Janelle tried to get the running over with quickly because she'd rather be sitting still when she raised her hand to answer the first question. Not even breathing hard, Janelle once again approached her desk. Then she put her hand up and started to answer the question.

"Spider webs are so effective because they have the element of surprise. No little bug is expecting to be trapped in the web. Maybe they think it's like a little insect jungle gym. They climb onto it and BAM, their caught. The stickiness is important too, like everyone else said."
