Instead of growing annoyed with the elf, Beverly was amused. "Careful, Chomper might think your ears are treats." Even if they were about the same size as he was. Meh. It was Chomper. He took after her in the fear department. He lacked one half the time. "Chomper, no biting," she scolded once the elf complained.
Oops. Biting is his specialty besides gliding.
So Finn wasn't sorry because she didn't really have dentures. Beverly shrugged. "Fair enough," she said, dropping her arms and nudging him. No need to be scared. She didn't bite like Chomper did. Not as often anyway.
"Chomper is a
sugar-glider," Beverly smiled with an air of pride. Sure, it was a tiny thing. A feisty thing. "He's not intending to hurt Tippin." Not exactly. "Finn--I wouldn't." She stepped forward as Finn walked towards them, already sensing Chomper's next move. "He's just...playing."
HUMAN was getting TOO CLOSE. Chomper made a clicking sound and snapped as the boy got close. Not touching, no touching the almighty Chomper! He clicked some more, perching himself at the top of the elf's head as if he was King Kong.
His beady eyes glided toward his Beverly. HI HI. Did she see?!?!?! He made a new friend. With chewy, large ears. Chomper rubbed his face on the elf's head. Hiiii.
