Benny was thankfully coming down from his original blinding high at the thought of working with a dragon, at least a little. Enough to notice what was going on around him as Aidan decided to paw around his lap as he sat indian style on the blanket he was on. The occasional pressure on various points of his leg at least gave him away to track his charge and not have to keep a strict eye on the creature. Not that he didn't like to anyway. The Gryffindor giving the dragon another rub on his head as it came near his hand where it rested again.
He still wasn't sure why Adi had moved away from them. Was it to give the dragons room so there wasn't too many together? Or was he a bit overwhelmed being surrounded by the two dragon lovers on either side if him? That was the one main thing he and Henric had in common after all. "Got your shoulder-dragon after all..." he mused aloud, commented towards Adi, whose dragon was seemingly playing with the Hufflepuff's ear.
As long as it didn't further encourage his bestie to want to try him smaller when he tried out the dragon form. The one tranfiguration was nerve-wracking enough...the other just added to it. Scratch...scratch...scratch...for you Aidan. Another rumble of fire was the response and Benny simple smiled.
