She was going to need a partner and Janelle looked around to see who might be in need of one. Her classmates seemed to be partnering up quickly so she really needed to find someone to work with soon. Not seeing any potential partners, Janelle called our. "Anyone need a partner? I'm available." Hopefully she would find a taker soon.
Suddenly, Janelle noticed that Zhenya seemed to be in need of a partner too. She walked over to the older girl and made her pitch. "Hi there. I was wondering if you might want to be partners with me." Zhenya was cool so Janelle hoped that she would agree to work with her. Hopefully she wouldn't mind working with a second year.
Eek, Zhenya was just about to give up and ask Professor Cassie to be her partner, but luckily Janelle came up to her and asked if she wanted to be partners. A smile broke out on Zhenya's face,
"Absolutely Janelle, thank you!"
She walked back over to the desks.
"Who should go first?" she asked, sieve in hand. She placed it on the table, in the middle. Was that where it was supposed to be?
