Kate could do nothing but just stand in place, frozen and wide-eyed. One second the professor was calmly greeting the students, but then the next second, he was screaming and flailing and telling everybody to take a seat. Kate promptly sat down and tried not to think about people with lint brushes in their hair or professors flailing about. Instead, she tried to think about boxes.

Especially the box the professor had been mesmerized with since before Kate even stepped foot in the class. So what was in it? She had absolutely no idea. A wild guess was just about the best she could do. "A magical moon?" she suggested, knowing that with magic, anything was possible. Sure, it wasn't the REAL moon, but she could imagine a magical one being in there.
