She demonstrated these two steps so the students could see what she was doing. "Then you will say the persons full first and last name, Cassiopeia Morgan." No it wouldn't work because she said her own name, but she wanted to show students how to properly do the divination form. "Now if I am guilty and I wasn't saying my own name the sieve will move towards me. If I'm innocent it will stay just as it is. If a person is a very good liar at times the sieve will have a hard time reading, but in the end it will come out. The sieve will shutter or shiver, sometimes move just a little bit. When this happens it means the person could be hiding something or is just very nervous to be the center of attention so he or she seems guilty." Which did happen at times.

"Now what I'd like for you to do is go ahead and take turns doing this on each other. If the sieve moves you will tell me right away, if the sieve shutters, shivers, or moves slightly you will tell me right away as well." She'd figure out who was holding Bob hostage before the end of the lesson. "You may begin."

Ooc: Just as the directions say take turns performing the spell and saying the persons name. DO NOT RP the outcome for the other person they will do that themselves just as in anything we do here on SS that needs another charries outcome. So for example if I was partner with Mj and Nessa, Cassie would say Nessa's full name and then just put she is watching anxiously to see what the sieve will do. Mj would then RP Nessa watching the sieve and say that it moved or did not move and have her react. I'll be moving the lesson on at 9:30 p.m. est.
