Can you throw marbles at other people? Not to hurt them, but y'know, just for fun!" Matt wasn't evil, alrighttttt. He was no Sith. No. He was nice, but until now Gobstones just sounded so BORING he HAD to come up with something entertaining. "Have you ever played Gobstones?"

Teddy smiled a genuine smile at Matt, and found his hand being shaken. He almost laughed, but not quite. "Nice to meet you too Matt," he said.

Wait, Matt thought Gobstones was boring? "Let me guess, your mother made you come?" He had been exactly like this when he was heading towards Quidditch camp. Not out of boredom, but fear. Teddy had been the one to beg his mother to take him to the gobstones club, with Ava if she wanted. When he heard about it, he knew he wanted to go. Unlike Quidditch Camp, where his mother had begged him to go. "It's so much fun! It takes real concentration to line up the moves and get the balls," he nodded. It was fun, SO much fun. Even by himself. And he shook his head "No... well, you can but it's not a rule. You might be disqualified if you did that." Should Teddy be concerned? Was he joking? How was it fun? Perhaps if it was just a light throw... "They're hard balls though, it might hurt. Unless you were trying to play catch or something, then it... might be fun."

Of course Teddy had played Gobstones before. His face became animated as he nodded, "Yes, I got a Gobstones set for my fifth birthday. It's just a simple one, I want to get one of the other sets," he explained. "So... what do you do in your free time if you don't play Gobstones?" Teddy asked. Was he a Quidditch fan like Ava? Did he read books? Go for hikes? Paint?

SPOILER!!: Saxon

The blonde checked her clipboard and saw that it seemed most of the children for her group were here so she felt it was ok to start. Those kids who were late, well, they wouldn't get in trouble or anything, they'd just have to catch up, but there was no need to rush them. The only people seemed to be missing at the moment was one more gobstones player and the daycare center employee, Saxon hoped they would be here soon enough.

She waited a few minutes letting the kids finish up their little chit chats. It seemed some of them were already getting along which was great news. Perhaps they'd be a good excited bunch who were more than happy to share the experience with the others.

"Hello children..." She'll call them children for now until she specifically knew all their names. "You should all be here because you, or your parent has signed you up for gobstones lessons. We have a few professionals here to assist us and hopefully make this a joyful and entertaining experience." So please be patient with them, gobstones people, if you weren't good with kids. A lot was riding on this. "We'll be starting with some basics and how to hold the gobstones and how to use them, then we'll go into some practice and lastly we'll have some real fun at the end." Huge smile and thumbs up. "You can grab some gobstones from here." She pointed at the small box standing a few feet from her, "My name is Saxon and I work as the gobstones manager here in the ministry."

"So, who would like to introduce yourself and teach the kids the basics?" Saxon asked looking at the professionals.

OOC: Hey guys, just a couple of things for you to know! Professional gobstones players and ministry employees will be taking turns in posting (somewhat like two professors teaching in one class). So if your charrie wants to teach a particular thing just jump on in and go for it! Don't be nervous or worried about being required to post in a particular order! (check your gobstones PM if you need reminders/or to see where we are in the lesson )

Don't be afraid of letting your kids interact with anyone in their group or the adults. If your child needs extra assistance then someone will try to get to them as soon as possible (unless they wish help from a particular person.)

There is at least two gobstones fields for the children to play on so they don't get too crowded as opposed to just having one for all nine children.

I hope this all made sense. If not please PM or DM (on Tag's twitter account please) me and I'll try to answer your questions. As well, you can go to Emjay (MJ). Above all else, remember to have fun with everything and have your kids interact with anyone they want!

And then a grownup began to speak to them. Her name was Saxon. Teddy would remember that. He was good with names. He listened as Saxon explained what they would be doing that day, and Teddy got the nervous butterflies. The excited nervous ones, not the anxious nervous ones. His face even broke out into a smile. Teddy had mostly taught himself how to play Gobstones, though his father would help at times, so it would be interesting to learn the proper rules, rather than the ones Teddy had improvised with when he had been unsure. He was desperate to get onto the Quidditch Gobstones Team when he got there, in only a few months!
