Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger It wasn't as if staring at the candy displays would make it any easier to decide what to get, but staring he was. What hadn't he tried yet? Thornton considered each carefully, trying to recall what he had liked and what he had disliked.
Hogsmeade was really his only chance to get sweets, other than things that were just around the castle or that his friends were generous enough to share. Mother and her... insistence on not having sweets in the house meant that along with his actual education, Thornton's time at Hogwarts had also been a bit of a candy education as well.
Pausing near the Sugar Quills, Thornton tilted his head. Hm. He hadn't tried those yet, he didn't think. Absently fingering the money in his pocket, he wondered how much candy he could realistically manage to get.
