At the corner of his eye, he saw Adi and Benny had decided on the same game too.Oh well..good for them. Not particularly concern about those two...especially when Benny's around. Whatever...he just wanted to start playing and watching how these chess pieces destroy each other. Hehe.

Once the wizard chess been set down and arranged accordingly to their sides,he looked back up at her again,"How do we start?"

Ilia often forgot that Henric was muggle raised and she was slightly surprised that he didn't know any broom games. It wasn't really all that surprising as she was equally clueless to muggle games. "Well there is Quidditich of course.....Swivenhodge, Quodpot, Stichstock.....I used to mostly play Shuntbumps though. " It was a lot of fun knocking her cousins off of their brooms if she did say so herself.

She laughed a little at his expressions and what he said but shook her head."Its the same as muggle chess as far as I can tell, simply our pieces are enchanted and you must call out the grid space for them to move to." She pointed to the squares on the board. "Its still has ranks 1 through 8 and Files A through H. So simply call out the space and the piece will move. You are white, so you go first." She looked the board over and thought for a moment. "Did you play muggle chess?" If he hadn't.........then this was going to become a teaching game really fast.
