Cobwebs.
Everywhere.
Were they getting WORSE? Toby thought they were getting worse. And it wasn't like they could just be easily brushed away, 'cause they were so sticky and clingy. Toby was slightly nervous that spiders would see them on him and decide he was their new home.
Shudder.
The classroom was much better by comparison though, and after Toby stepped through the trap door and brushed himself off (futily), he stepped across to the invariably present snap cup. He actually had a pre-written proud moment ready, but now had another idea. Once he'd written it on some parchment, he tore off that strip, folded it up, and added it to the cup.
That done, he smiled towards the professor.
"Morning, Professor..." Toby glanced at the turtle he'd just noticed, watched him for a moment then headed for a seat, still talking to Professor Cassie.
"How's Bob doing?"
