Honest. ”It was super nice of him for letting you borrow him.” Marsha said looking up at the Divination Professor. ”I like his name, I wasn’t judging or anything… My pets are called Chestnut and Duchess and I named my Griffin Cadfael… oh and I named Adi’s faerie Boom!” The red-head giggled, clearly happy when it came to talking about animals. Marsha nodded her head, soaking in this new information about turtles. ”So is Bob a wet or dry turtle?” AKA, did he have an aquarium or a dry heated cage. She’d never seen either type of turtle up close but she was hoping that the Professor would let her see Bob before she went to meet her brother. ”He said there might be some turtles and ducks by some of the ponds on the grounds and then added that it was Hogwarts, anything could happen.” BIG GRIN. She hoped she could find some ducks or swans before she left. How magical were swans? Hehe. Even if they could be really defensive. ”I was coming to see you, to ask if I could see Bob before he went away?” Bounce. Bouncebounce. Cassie listened to Marsha as she went on and on with the names of her pets. It was so super cute and Cassie couldn’t help but beam at the child. “It is nice that he is always willing to give me his pets, but he fully trust me. I have a small little talent.” She leaned closer to the girl, “I can hear and sense animals.” It was a gift that she knew children got a kick out of. What kid didn’t want to understand animals? “Those are some great names.”
Glancing at her hands she opened the box and let Marsha see the turtle. “He is a dry turtle, but does like the occasional water.” Her brother enjoyed giving him a bath, though Bob didn’t like it all the time. She couldn’t help but chuckle at what Maddox said to her, “Well he is certainly correct, though this time of year you aren’t going to find many just walking around.” It was way too cold for them to be out and about. “Well it’s your lucky day. He is right here, though let’s just look at him for now and not touch.” He had been a bit crabby and she didn’t want him snapping at anyone.
