Food. Hector needed some food. Eden needed to do that weird thing with the meat and the bottles and the LIQUID and like ugh. "..They are kindaaaaa' like real babies. Would you regurgitate your food for Lorenzo? What if we HAD to, would you?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "I would. I'd do that for Hector, here." She smirked a little and ruffled his feathers.

Eden really would do that....if it was absolutely needed. ANYTHING FOR BABY HECTOR. She summoned the bottle, though, and shoved some of the meat into the it, and then liquified it with a nicely done heating charm and then...you know..water. She needed to mix up the meat and make it...super drink-y.

There.

Done.

His gross meat drink thing. Eden patted the spot next to her for Hector, but had to grab him when he came near...because there was NO way he'd stay still enough for her to feed him.
The funny thing about Eden was that she said stuff like they were friends, but it was just a little bit... mean. Like the thing where she asked about regurgitating, it was like she wanted Dot to know that she was a better griffin mother than Dot was. And maybe that was true, because there was no way she'd throw up food for someone else to eat, even if it was a starving griffin in the wild. No way.

"That's good for you. I wouldn't. There's probably a spell, you know? But I don't have a gizzard, so I don't throw up on command. Plus it's really unhealthy to eat raw meat. I might pre-chew food for Enzo, but only if I couldn't figure out a spell way to do it first and only if the meat was cooked." So basically, she was a bad griffin mother. Are you happy, Eden? Dot was a BAD MOTHER.

"Do you think they have bird brains or cat brains? I want to understand the psychology of a griffin so I can train him. You can train birds, you know... maybe I could tie messages to him and have him deliver my mail. Or I could teach him to migrate to Italy every winter. And when he gets bigger, he'll take me with him, and poof... free trip to Italy!" Was she talking too much? Dot shifted her weight to get the bottle more tipped, and Lorenzo slurped down the last of his dinner.
