CoMC Homework #1 - Post #4 be curious, not judgmental While Genevieve trotted around the playpen, Sophie sat back on her hands, observing with mild curiosity. The griffin ended up pouncing a sleeping griffin, antagonizing it into playing with her until the sleepy griffin got up and pounced back. The two played for awhile, pecking and pouncing at each other and romping around until Genevieve seemed to lose interest and wandered back over to the Ravenclaw, who had a small smile on her face.
Griffins were mega cute, man. But she couldn't help but think about just how cute they WERE and how problematic that could be because... Tobes would want one. Wouldn't he? She could just HEAR him begging Javy for a pet griffin and how patient and kind Javy would be with him. That would actually be a cute sight, too - at least until Tobes didn't get his way, and then there'd be a sad Hufflepuff.
No one ever wanted Tobes to be sad. He was too pure and kind and perfect. Everyone loved that kid.
Soph was brought back to the present when Genevieve was pecking at her hand, and she avoiding the griffin's beak by gently stroking the creature's head, petting it softly. Genevieve contently took a seat beside Soph and let her pet her for a few minutes before impulsively taking off and romping back over to antagonize another griffin.
Short attention span, her griffin had.
...Could she come back, though? Sophie wanted to groom her. She could brush her to get the really nasty, knotted stuff out of her feathers and fur, then give her a proper bath. But... Genevieve seemed like she had quite a bit of energy to burn off yet.
Bummer. Soph would just be over here preparing the grooming supplies for when her griffin had less energy, then.
