There was all sorts of things around the school that Toby could change the colour of for this assignment, literally hundreds of thousands of things, probably. And yet, he still found himself lost when it came to thinking of things he could cast the charm on. Mostly it was about courtesy... manners. He didn't want to upset anyone or accidentally change the colour of something that someone already liked in its original colour. But the more Toby thought about that, the less options he ended up with. In the end he'd decided to walk around the castle until he saw something that he could try the charm on, rather than trying to plan ahead. Much less stressful, much less opportunity to overthink.

His travels brought him to the suits of armour on the second floor. Now he was stood here, right in front of them, it occurred to Toby that a suit of armour was the most obvious choice. They were, after all, literally everywhere. He wondered what a group of them was called. A flock? A parliament? A meeting?

Before he could get TOO distracted by that line of thinking, Toby stepped up to the nearest suit of armour and took his wand out of its holster. He cleared his throat, then pointed it right at the chestplate, concentrating on yellow.

"Colovaria," he said as he pointed, and Toby watched as the armour slowly changed colour, a vibrant yellow spreading out through the silvery alloy from exactly where he'd pointed his wand, looking almost gold thanks to the metallic sheen. Toby stood and admired it for a moment before moving on in his travels, getting out a piece of parchment to note down what he'd charmed and all the while still mulling over what a group of suits of armour would be called.

A pack? A herd? A colony? A gaggle?
