She'd never been one of those types though. Nope it had always been green for Hady. "Aww so they're young still. I bet as they get older they'll grow closer and get along more." Really she wasn't sure but she heard from her friends sometimes this happens.
And then there was an even more odd question then the one from earlier. Professor Quigley wanted to practice the art of polishing ones nails....on her. HER! The small teenaged snakette that hardly ever wore the stuff. "Uh.." She began quietly not sure what to say and blinking up at him several times.
Really Hady didn't have any reason not to agree. There was nowhere she needed to be at the moment and if it helped her Professor out it was worth it. With a small nod of her head the third year agreed. "Alright, it's really not all that hard to do." Shifting her bag on her shoulder glanced about trying to decided if standing was good or if it'd be easier to just sit down. After a moments thought on this she choose to allow him to decide what was best for him. He couldn't be that bad really, right? "Hmm, you think so?" Maddox scratched his chin at her suggestion, trying not only to imagine his daughters getting along more amicably in general but also them older. It was decidedly not something he was ready for. They needed to remain his little girls for possibly their entire life. No questions asked, they simply were not allowed to grow up.
The reflective stare broke when she agreed to let him have a go at it on her nails, replaced now with a grin. Students could be so giving on the odd occasion. Bless them. "Excellent! I won't be hogging too much of your time." With that, he pulled out his wand and conjured a table with two comfy chairs opposite each other. This was a corridor, yes, and this was technically blocking the way, also yes, but today it happened to be sparsely travelled so there was no real harm. Not unless a stampede happened with a mass of students trying to escape certain death and danger but everyone knew that was more likely to happen in the dungeons. "Have a seat Miss Lynch and we can get this started." The man flopped into his own seat and placed the bottle down. "Would you prefer I make it a different colour?"
