SPOILER!!: Lux & Zhenya

Taking her potion with her, she couldn't wait to continue brewing later on in the lab. Thanks for the lesson, Professors! If I see Pebbles I will let you know immediately, Professor Flamsteed." And with that she left the room. She wanted to give Toby a hug, but that would have to wait since it seemed that he and Sophie had a meeting with Flammy.

She slowly made her way over to him, wanting to... reach out, but her arms weren't hairy anymore. She stopped, frowned, and lowered them. Why was she needing to creep over to him? She wasn't WereZhenya anymore. She felt her usual happy self again.

But still, she didn't want this class to end. It had been so much fun! She had actually really started to love Astronomy this term, and Defence against the Dark Arts was incredible and of course Potions was still her all time favourite.

Zhenya went to gather her potion. She saw it immediately, her bag right near it. She picked it up, put her bag over her shoulder, and went to seek the Professors who made this class possible.

"Professor Flamsteed, I really liked the moon phase activity we did. It was really good seeing it visually and having it explained as it went on," she said. She hadn't really struggled with phases of the moon, but things got a bit confusing sometimes, and everything sort of clicked in nicely after that activity. [B]"I'll keep an eye out for Pebbles. And thanks for an awesome lesson." She waved and headed over to Professor Dakest.

"Professor Dakest, that was awesome. I have a lot to think about after all the information on werewolves," she said, thinking of the tricky line between treating a werewolf like a human and treating it like the werewolf it was. At least she knew a spell to help, if she ever needed it. "Thanks for the food for thought."

Where was Professor Culloden?

"Thank you, ladies," the Astronomy professor saluted appreciatively at the young women. Really. He had a tiny bit more faith in Miss Carrington's abilities, however. Hufflepuffs, after all, are very good finders.

Offering a sad but reassuring smile to Tobes, Soph led the way over toward the man hanging in the tree. She knew it would've been better to let him talk first, but as soon as she got close enough, she opened her mouth, her eyes still red from the tears that had been periodically stinging at them, "I'm really, really sorry for disrupting class I dunno what happened because I've never done anything like that before and I dunno why I did but it was super out of character and I swear I'd never want to keep people from learning because your class is super interesting and the best and I love it and I'd never want to upset or disappoint you either because I look up to you so much and I swear I'll never do anything like that ever again. Honest." Could he tell?

She wanted to speak for Tobes, too, and say they were both sorry and would never do anything like that again, but she didn't want Flamsteed scolding her for not letting the Hufflepuff use his words because he could speak for himself. They may have been partners in accidental troublemaking, but they were still individuals... as much as she did want to speak for him and defend him till the end of time.

"I can't... I can't... I can't find..." Toby mumbled, considering getting down on the and crawling around to see where it might have gotten kicked to. "Where's my-..." But at that moment he suddenly heard Soph's voice, and looked up automatically at the tone of it.

... Oh. OH. He had to... oh.

He'd gotten so distracted and caught up in his search that for a moment he'd forgotten about... all that. But now Toby remembered and all that worry and sadness and guilt came flooding right back. He hurried over to Airey and Soph, but instead of saying anything once he got there (other than a "Sorry, Professor," for taking his time), Toby simply cast his eyes downward. This time to avoid looking at the man he had let down rather than to search for his wand.

And speaking of Hufflepuffs and finding...

...or not finding as the case may be.

Well...ACTUALLY...Mr. Toby had found something. He had found himself in a little bout of trouble. Har har. His sense of humor was somewhat coming back - must have been because of reliving one of his boyhood pastimes of climbing a tree. Before he had discovered suits and become obsessed with cleanliness. Like moss clinging to the fabric like an unwanted parasite.

Rubbing his temples as Miss Brown spoke - NOT because what she had to say was aggravating, but because he never imagined he would need to have this conversation with these two students in particular. Ah the blissful ignorance that came with not knowing about the personal lives of students...

"I understand and accept both of your apologies," he nodded. He really did, but that did not mean they were off the hook. Although, judging for their behavior the entire lesson, it seemed they had punished themselves more mentally and emotionally than the words of any professor could do with any sort of detention. Still...it HAD been a while since he had given one of those...

But he would refrain. For now.

"...but if I ever see that kind of behavior in a classroom setting again - a setting where students look especially to you two are role models - it will be detention. And remember, the Chinese once used tickling as a form of torture."

Firm. Something he was not more than 90% of his career as a professor at Hogwarts. But perhaps it was for that very reason that this had happened. He had, in recent terms, taken down a few stones from his professionalism based barrier he had up with students - even more stones since becoming Head of House - and perhaps it was time to put a few of those back in place.

His expression remained firm for another moment before it was as though he flipped an invisible switch that brought about a smile.

"Now, how about we find that wand of yours, Mr. Toby?"
