Merlin, how'd he even get in this mess in the first place?!
Zander's eyes followed his badge as it was passed back and forth between the girl's badge. She could have whatever she wanted. It was clear he was desperate at this point. Ahem. That probably didn't even help his case. Zander really needed to learn how to handle these things. Gosh. You'd think they'd put something about 'demanding little girls with big personalities' in their Prefect's Handbook. Unfortunately, they didn't.
So she didn't want house points? What. Who DOESN'T want house points??? So this girl was obviously not a team player. Noted. Though he probably could've figured that one out earlier. "Owe you?" he raised a VERY suspicious eyebrow. What. What could he possibly owe her? Yet somehow he found himself agreeing. It was apart of that gut thing that Gryffindors were known for doing. His mind was setting of sirens, but his heart just wanted the badge back. It wasn't his fault, okay?!!? "Fine. Deal. Just give me my badge," he held his hand out expectantly 'cause if they had a deal then he'd need the badge back. And uh, scouts honor for the 'owe'ing thing. Oh uh, please? No, Magdalena Natalie Traulton was in no Prefect's Handbook. She was unique......
.....uniquely cunning.
The way he repeated her request made her think that he wouldn't agree. It WAS a quite risky promise to make (for him) but Maggie had hoped that he was desperate enough right now. And turns out he really was. They had a deal then. And Zander looked like someone who wouldn't break it either. Not that he COULD really. Seeing as this had happened. Him losing his badge. Her finding it. Wouldn't want anyone else to know about it, right? "Awesome." She smiled at him, taking a few steps closer. "See you around then." And with that she tossed him the badge before stepping around him and making her way down the corridor. Bye, Zanderrrr. |
