Help for Lux be curious, not judgmental It was over.
Tears were still stinging at the Ravenclaw's eyes as things began to return to a state of normalcy and the mist faded away. She wiped at them, hopefully before anyone besides Dot could see that she'd been so worked up - then she put on a hard, emotionless expression.
No crying in front of Flamsteed. Not unless she was desperate.
She looked for Tobes, then, and on her way over to him, she cast, "Finite," at Lux to free her. There was apprehension on her expression when she reached the seventh year Hufflepuff, however hard she tried to keep her expression blank, and she wanted to reach for him and hug him to comfort him after what he'd just gone through...
But that was the kind of thing that got them in trouble in the first place, wasn't it? Sophie looked toward Flamsteed, then, her eyes stinging and red with sadness, and they flickered toward Culloden and Dakest, too.
The professors knew they needed help, right? Flamsteed wasn't going to make things worse?
Her jaw set with worry creases on her forehead, Sophie resorted to standing beside Tobes in silence, chewing on her bottom lip as she did so. She did notice Tobes scanning the ground, but she just thought he was avoiding eye contact with the world and fidgeting, not looking for anything in particular.
Everything she'd worked for during the last five and a half years, right down the drain.
