The click-clack of the bosses heels always struck fear into the employees hearts, as Lynley knew from experience from BOTH ends of the spectrum.

And suddenly--her heel made connection with something--and she tripped, very uncharacteristically, and her tray fumbled into a man's lap.

Well.

It wasn't her fault.
