IT WAS TIME TO BE REUNITED WITH HER LITTLE GRIFFIN BABY.
Sophie Brown was VERY excited for this reunion and it SHOWED ON HER FACE as she entered the creature housing area and passed the gated stables hurriedly, searching for where the griffins were being held - aaaand HERE THEY WERE!
Most of them were sleeping, though a few were being rowdy with each other. The sixth year immediately looked for her griffin in the active bunch, very well reminded of Genevieve's feisty nature during class and... just as she suspected, there was her griffin baby being an instigator and picking on a fellow griffin baby who was significantly bigger than her already.
Sophie was actually pretty proud.
She gathered necessary caretaking supplies - including gathering some raw meat in a bottle - and set them aside where she planned on tending to the griffin before creeping over toward the little creatures. "Genevieeeeve, come see your favorite student caretaker," Sophie greeted the griffin, gently lifting the small griffin from the group and carrying her off to the side, unfazed by the griffin's gnawing on her hair as they went. It didn't hurt - it was more annoying than anything - and Soph got cozy on the floor with Genevieve in her lap, already picking up a blanket and making it cozy around the little baby creature's body.
Giving its head an affectionate ruffle, Sophie let Genevieve get comfortable in her lap and do what it needed to be ready for feeding time. The BEST TIME OF THE DAY.
