Good thing he knew she didn't mean a word of it. Ari had to like him. He saw what she was like when it was otherwise and so far she hadn't sent anyone to punch out his lights. Obviously he was doing something right.

Dax's brow rose with nothing but skepticism. It was hard to deny Ari knew things but what he found hard to believe was her knowing anything he actually cared about. "Name one thing I'd actually care if you told me or not."

THIS time he was listening. The list couldn't be all that long.
