Most people who received a note with just a time and location would probably have been a little too suspicious, a little too way about turning up there. One might have thought, what with having a set of very protective parents these days AND with all the constant vigilance lectures they'd had at school over the past year or so, that Toby might have been one of these people. That was completely incorrect. As soon as Toby got the note, he knew at once he was going to turn up and see who was there. It was exciting, like an adventure.

And so it was that he showed up, right on time, give or take a few minutes. Lingering at the doorway for a moment, Toby scanned the room for anyone familiar who might be likely to meet with him. It only took around 0.0000000000002 seconds to spot her.

"ELLA!" Toby suddenly cried out, totally gleeful like he was twelve years old again. In a rush of excitement, he hurried across to her table and threw himself into the seat beside the blonde, tackling her in a hug. There were tears in his eyes, HAPPY tears ~~mostly~~, but he buried his face in her shoulder and just squished. Sorry Ella. "I've MISSED you!"
