Galdrs were nothing new to Lux, so she had expected some convoluted chanting to be part of the lesson. The use of more than one rune for activation was new to her, however.

Lux repeatedly chanted the galdr until she felt confident enough to try it out on her piece of wood. She really didn't want to mess up this part of the activity when she was doing so well. As a test to her knowledge, she wrote the chant down in her notes without looking at the board for assistance. It took a few tries, but eventually she got it perfect. |
