Zander was only momentarily distracted by Professor Flamsteed's cookies sneeze, but Professor Dakest started only a few minutes after that fiasco, so there wasn't really anytime to think about poor Benny's potion. The Gryffindor had looked pretty down lately as well. Poor bloke. Zander made a mental note to go talk to his dormmate after class or something. Or maybe at night? Bro it out in the Sixth Year rooms or something. After all, Benny had been there for him last term. Time to return the favor, Zander supposed.
Anyways.
Werewolves. The Prefect quickly began jotting down the difference between werewolves and regular wolves. Just as Professor D said, incase he ever needed to identify one. Which actually, why would he ever have to identify one? Werewolf or just regular wolf, Zander wasn't just going to stand there and try to figure it out. He'd have to do something, 'cause just standing there was a perfect way to get killed. Shouldn't the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher know that!?
But anyways, question time. Zander was much proactively trying to participate. He was trying to prove to Professor Dakest that he was taking this whole improvement thing to heart. "Wasn't the whomping willow planted to help protect a werewolf?" you know, after five years of sitting in HoM classes, Zander had actually managed to absorb something after all. How nice. "Could we do something like that to keep them away from harming people during transformations?"
