Text Cut: ASTRO COOKIE CATCH UP
He knew the lunar cycle pretty well, but Benzi wouldn't object to eating cookies ANY time of day. Even if technically his appetite should be shot because some girl had vomited on Flamsteed.

Eh. Cookies were more tempting than vomit was gross. Tearing open his cookie packet, Benzi did the full moon one first because it was the least fun, and then the two half moon, laying them on his desk neatly. Then he twisted the next cookie and began scraping his teeth on it, going for the waxing gibbous formation, and then the identical waning gibbous. He was leaving his new moon for last.

WANING AND WAXING CRESCENTS NEXT. He was going for the eating the least to eating the most order, if no one could tell. He was also leaving the empty sides for later, as there was potions and defence still to go and he needed sustenance. Grabbing the last cookie, he twisted the cap off and grinned as he easily scrapped off ALL the white goodness and placed it in the empty spot of his moon phases chart.

ALL DONE. Reaching into bag, Benzi grabbed his water bottle and drank a bunch. He always got thirsty after eating a lot of sugar. RIGHT. Next!

Text Cut: POTIONS
Wolfsbane.

Benzi drew a line on his parchment, signalling the end of Astronomy and the beginning of Potions. He wrote down 'Wolfsbane', then 'qualities' and then waited for his classmates to start spewing out information. They hadn't studied werewolves OR wolfsbane back in his old school, so Benzi only knew the things that everybody knew. He'd had a werewolf in his class but the girl had been really quiet and kind of weird, so they hadn't talked much.

The sixth year wrote down everything that the Professor said and copied the ingredients off the blackboard. ... Was the potion hard or just collecting the ingredients? Those were some crazy specific things. Moving his notes away from what would soon be a flame, Benzi got up to quickly wash his hands and came back to just as quickly clean the cauldron and his utensils.

Wouldn't want to ruin this potion from the get go. Filling up a glass container with milk, he placed it on a medium heat flame and eyed his watch. Filling up the brass cauldron with a quick "aguamenti", he waited for the milk to heat up and as soon as the three minutes were up, added the milk to the water. Leaning back, he twiddled with the burner to turn the one under the cauldron to low heat.

After chopping his fluxweed, Benzi dropped it into his cauldron and picked up his metal stirrer, stirring it one.. two.. three.. four.. "five.. six... seven" times clockwise, counting under his breath. Then he sprinkled in the dog fur - weird ingredient - timing in roughly ten seconds between each sprinkle.

... A WEEK? Okay that was a long time. "Recordo," Benzi muttered to himself, but passed on practicing the wand movment. He was pretty sure he could do a circular motion, thank you very much. This wasn't the difficult bit of the potion, clearly.

Right.

Going to wash his hands again, Benzi hurriedly returned to his seat and waited for the best part DADA to begin.

HA. Flamsteed. Benzi couldn't help the bubble of laughter at the sneezing into a student's potion incident, but quickly looked away to stop the laughter from continuing. Flamsteed was on a point docking mission and he didn't want to be the next target. Ravenclaw was abysmally low on points as it was.

How could they trap werewolves?

Well that was an excellent questions.

"A well timed 'incarcerous' spell?" he half said half muttered to himself before taking a moment to think of something less dangerous. "The ministry could employ Animagi," he raised his hand, and nodded to the Slytherin girl (Zhenya) who had a a similar idea, "if they don't want to employ actual werewolves. ... Or is there some sort of spell that tracks werewolves? Though even if you find them you'd still need an animagus and/or a wolfsbaned wereworf to make sure you weren't eaten..."

All in all, not his best answer.
