Kate cleaned her knife and stirrer then began chopping the fluxweed. Adding it the brew, she stirred seven times clockwise, making sure to keep count, so she couldn't stir too much or too little. After the seventh stir, Kate sprinkled the dog fur until the count of ten. She wasn't sure how precise she'd been on that one, but according to the professor, that didn't really matter anyway.

SEVEN DAYS?!

Dear Merlin. Kate noted the time, even writing it on top of her notes. She started copying the remainder of the instructions, but the professor wanted them to move on to practicing a spell instead. Mmkay. Kate held her on to her wand as she listened to the professor. "Recordo. Recordo!" she repeated. Not hard at all. Kate drew a circle with her wand without saying the incantation. Such an easy spell for such a difficult potion.

There was a memory added in to the steps, too, but they were closing out this part of the lesson. So that left the Defense part of the lesson before things wrapped up. Ready for you, Dakest.
